Selling a digital product should not mean handing your money to a middleman first. On most platforms the sale is made by the platform, the money sits with the platform, and you wait for it to be released to you on terms you don't control.

Stakk is built the other way round. Your store runs on Stripe Connect, in your own name: you are the seller, the payment goes into your own Stripe account, and Stripe pays it out to you directly on Stripe's own schedule. Stakk never holds your money, and has no ability to withhold, delay, schedule or reverse a payout. The other side of that is that you are the merchant of record, so chargebacks, refunds and any tax on your sales are yours to handle.

Stakk is a one-person business and it is only just launching. It makes money in exactly one way: a share of each sale you make - from 10% + $0.50 per transaction, payment processing included. There is no monthly fee, no subscription, and nothing to pay if you don't sell. If your Stripe account settles in a currency other than US dollars, Stripe’s conversion fee takes a typical sale to around 12%.
