Does Stan Store have order bumps?

Yes, on one condition: you have to be on Creator Pro, which is $99 a month. Stan's own help article says it in one line - "This feature is only available on the Creator Pro plan." The same sentence appears on its funnels article, which is where post-purchase offers live. On the $29 Creator plan you get neither. I checked both at Stan Store's help centre on 12 September 2026.

What does a Stan Store order bump do?

It puts a second product on the checkout page of the first one, so the buyer can add it without a separate purchase. Stan's order bump article covers the setup, and there are a few limits worth knowing before you plan around it.

The main product has to be paid, at $0.50 or more, and so does the bumped product. You get one order bump per product, not several. And it works with digital downloads, communities and courses, with communities and courses needing to be set as one-time payments rather than subscriptions.

Checkout · Creator, $29
Coaching workbook$49
Add the 6-week email course Creator Pro only, $99 a month +$29
Total$49
Pay $49

The feature is real and it works. On the $29 Creator plan it is simply not switched on, and the same gate sits on funnels, which is where post-purchase offers live.

That is a real order bump by the strict definition: an optional add-on, offered at checkout, before the buyer pays. The only thing standing between you and it is the plan.

Does Stan Store have post-purchase upsells?

It has something that sits in that slot, and it is called a funnel. Stan's funnels article defines an upsell as "An offer shown to a customer after they purchase a product", and its funnels FAQ says funnels "support up to 5 levels of nested Upsells and Downsells", branching on whether the buyer takes or skips each offer.

Here is the part I could not confirm. Stan does not document anywhere that the card stays on file so the buyer can accept the next offer in one click. The FAQ only notes a restriction: "funnels currently only support payments through the Stripe credit card field. PayPal, Apple Pay, and Payment Plans are not supported for Funnel purchases." That tells you which payment method works, not whether the second charge is one-tap.

So: Stan has post-purchase offers, and I am marking the one-click mechanic unclear rather than claiming it. Several third-party write-ups state it confidently. None of them is Stan.

What does Stan Store charge?

Two plans, per Stan's pricing article: Creator at $29 a month or $300 a year, and Creator Pro at $99 a month or $948 a year. Stan takes 0% of your sales itself.

That 0% is 0% on top of Stripe, not instead of it. Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 still applies, and Stan documents a payout fee of 0.25% + $0.25 with a $1 minimum on top of that. Stan also runs on a Stripe Custom account, which its own help centre describes as one that "does not have a separate Stripe Dashboard login" - so you do not get the usual Stripe dashboard for that money, and Stan says funds take two to seven business days to fully settle inside Stripe.

Why do so many platforms charge $99 for this?

Because Stan is not an outlier. Podia puts its upsells on Shaker at $99, and Checkout Page gives away order bumps on its free plan but charges $99 for the one-click upsell. Three platforms, three different products, the same number.

The post-purchase upsell is the most reliably paywalled feature in this whole category, and it is paywalled because it is the feature that most directly raises what a seller makes per buyer. It gets priced like a revenue share wearing a subscription's clothes.

If you are already selling in volume, that trade can be perfectly sensible. If you are testing a first product, $1,188 a year to unlock a checkbox before you know anyone wants the product is a poor use of the money.

What are the alternatives if you need both?

Of the 40-plus platforms I checked, nine ship both an order bump and a post-purchase upsell, and six of those nine charge monthly for it. Three clear the bar with no monthly fee at all. The full table is in the comparison post.

Two of those three undercut us. Whop takes less per sale and is the closest straight replacement for what Stan charges $99 for. Systeme.io charges 0% on a free plan. If cost per sale is the whole decision, use them.

What you get here instead is the checkout. The bump rides the same charge as the product, so a $49 product with a $29 bump is one transaction and one fee rather than two. The upsell is one tap against the saved card. Both are on every account with nothing behind a tier, which is the entire difference from Stan - the feature is not better there, it is just $99 a month away. And the layout came out of funnels that actually ran for agency clients before Stakk existed.

If you only ever wanted the bump, Gumroad and Payhip both give you a checkout add-on on a free plan. Neither has the post-purchase leg.

When is Stakk the wrong choice?

You need the rest of what Stan does. Stan sells courses, communities, calendar bookings and email in one place; Stakk sells one-off digital products and nothing else. Same for subscriptions, memberships and payment plans - we have no recurring billing, so that is Stan, Whop or Podia. Prices above $999 or a currency other than US dollars do not exist here either. And if you want the platform to be the legal seller and handle chargebacks and sales tax, that is deliberately yours on Stakk.

Want both without the $99 plan?

Stakk puts the bump and the post-purchase upsell on every account, with no monthly fee and nothing held back for a higher tier. Your buyers pay into your own Stripe account and Stripe pays you out. 10% + $0.50 a sale, card processing included. At low volume that costs less than $99 a month; past a point a flat plan wins, and the table above is there so you can work out which side of that line you are on.
